Coffee 4 Us

Leaving a mark

Coffee 4 Us target

Penner Ministries acquired 10 acres of land for our first demonstration coffee garden. Please click here for more. Coffee4US program desires to engage Households in all the activities and empower them enough to give loans, start their own self-sustaining coffee gardens and employ others.

The initial target is for beginners to have 1333 Brazilian coffee trees, hoping that 800 trees will be ideally ready for good harvesting. With this target, each coffee4Us farmer is guaranteed (with today’s market rates and UCDA) at least 32 million Uganda Shillings (about USD 8,420) per year. This translates to each family managing USD 12.00 daily and this is way above the poverty line and sustainability.

Goal

Impact 5100 families from 68 districts in Uganda in 5 years.
Leveraging the transformative power of coffee to elevate lives from generational poverty.
