Community Outreach program

The Community Outreach program employs a “holistic,” approach in its social campaigns with the support of the Penner Ministries’ partners on the call to rescue/save, care, and educate a child. Social problems of drugs and substance use and abuse, sexual abuse, healthcare awareness (e.g., children’s nutrition), among others are also addressed.

More than 950 families and individuals have been educated, supplies provided (food, clothes, detergents, beddings, scholastic items, medicine, etc.) including spiritual nourishment through Penner children’s Choir and fellowships.

Through the Community Outreach Program, extremely needy children and families are identified, pursued, and supported. The program also partners with existing community emergency response teams to provide services like first aid and instill hope in people.

Through the Penner Fund, the principle of hard work, saving and investments is employed in helping Penner Ministries meet its members’ financial literacy and economic empowerment as a SMART goal for a long-lasting change.

Penner Fund envisions Households as the key players in its activities and operations. The campaigns in this program include social and economic empowerment, financial literacy education, awareness, and investments.
