We managed to hold out a campaign against malnutrition. We had to work with some health personals to be able to teach parents on how to feed their children on a balanced diet to prevent the alarming numbers of children that were being registered as a cause of Malnutrition.
We even went ahead to give out vegetable seedlings and we put up demonstration gardens for the parents to learn how to grow certain foods that are nutritious and healthy for them and their children. We even went ahead to encourage them to have backyard gardens in their homes to be able to grow these nutritious foods given the fact that they had acquired knowledge on how to grow these specific foods.
We also had a case of a little girl named Elizabeth whose life was detoriating day by day because of the poor standards of living yet her health was not in the right state. By GOD’s grace, we managed to put up a house for better accommodation and ensured that her basic needs and Education are meant to date. She leaves a better life as we speak, and she looks forward to a bright future.
