Mary
In tatters she was laid along the streets of Kampala 2 weeks old. This was done because the mother to this innocent soul needed to find means for her and her baby to survive amidst all the challenges that the world had thrown at her. At the verge of death, we found Mary after we had received a call from a concerned person who knew about the childcare and what we did.
Given her age, she was delicate and prune to catching disease faster due to the conditions that were not favoring her growth at all. We rushed her to hospital, conducted immunization on her because it was a necessary activity that she needed as a baby, and she had not acquired thus exposing her to diseases. Lucky enough, as soon as we uploaded some of her pictures, help came through from some of our online friends and thus Mary’s life took another turn.
We managed to fully take up Mary and made her part of our penner childcare family. As we speak, she’s now a grown-up beautiful girl that is lucky to acquire Education, basic needs, the care she needs as a child, a roof above her head and above all a family that loves her dearly that she proudly calls her own. She now has a sense of belonging. Thanks to GOD.
